Hello everyone! Welcome to my new blog.
This is me!
For those who don’t know me, my name is Nadia and I’m a reader/author from Guatemala.
I first opened my bookstagram back in 2017 and I’ve grown so much in the community. It all started because I loved taking photos and I loved books and I decided to start taking photos of books! It has been an amazing experience to share the books I’m reading and make so many friends online.
I attempted to keep up a written blog in 2018-2019 and…well, I failed miserably. In one year I wrote around 12 blog posts. It was such a waste of money because I bought a domain and I got a pro account and a lot of things I should have planned better.
I have no one to blame but myself. I was inexperienced and I didn’t take advantage of what I had. Which makes the relaunching of my blog a little bit crazy…but I am positive I can make it work this time around!
The reasons why I want to start a blog again is because I want to reach out to a bigger audience. I just feel I could be doing so many things and share them with people! I already have a platform in Instagram and I want to grow.
So that is why I am relaunching by blog!
What is this blog about?
My plan for this blog is to publish book reviews and other bookish content. You know, like lists of book recommendations, or a tour to my bookshelf, and many other things! I just want to share my experience as a reader with all of you!
I will also be sharing about my writing journey. If you didn’t know, I self-published my first novel Shades of Blue and I’m currently working on another WIP (work in progress). So yeah, writing is a huge part of my life and I love sharing about my creative process and tips for writing and everything in between.
My future plan for this blog, as well, is to include a bit of a lifestyle/travel journal part to it. I love traveling and I really hope that once it is safer I can keep doing it and share my experiences with all of you.
